Dr. Walter Kemmsies
Dr. Walter Kemmsies is widely viewed as one of the foremost experts on ports, rail, and infrastructure in the U.S. His areas of expertise include demand forecasting, maritime and overall global trade regulatory issues, public and private port and infrastructure financing, and long term strategic planning and capital investment. Having worked in major cities all over the world, Walter has a global perspective which uniquely qualifies him as a global trade economist.
Walter currently advises several major U.S. Port Authorities and is routinely asked to work on complex issues with various investment banks. private equity firms, and public regulatory agencies. He provides substantial support to the freight movement industry via publication of port volume data for the American Association of Port Authorities, presentations at major international industry conferences, and advises the U.S. Department of Commerce on Supply Chain Competitiveness. Walter recently testified to the U.S. Senate Transportation and Commerce Subcommittee on issues affecting freight industry. He has also published research in scholarly journals.
Prior to joining JLL, Dr. Kemmsies was the Chief Economist for Moffat & Nichol, a leading global infrastructure advisement firm. Proceeding his experience working with Moffat & Nichol, Walter was the Head of European Strategy at JP Morgan in London, and, earlier, Head of Global Industry Strategy at UBS in Zurich and London. Walter is a licensed real estate agent.
Mark Hall
Mark Hall is an industrial land developer and commercial real estate agent based in Georgia. He has had extensive experience in the Savannah market over the last 30 years, which gives him a unique level of expertise and knowledge, but he has also sought out and acquired land parcels with great potential for development in strategic locations throughout the United States. Mr. Hall’s approach to real estate is relationship based. Throughout his career he has developed connections with community and municipal leaders which he harnesses for the benefit of his clients.
Mark served as the National Director of the Central India Christian Mission (CICM) for a 4 years. In this role, he established strategic relationships nationally for the group. During his involvement Mr. Hall increased revenue in support of constructing schools, churches, and medical facilities in Central and Northeast India.
More recently, Mr. Hall has been involved with the industrial real estate market. He has helped acquire strategic tracts of land and get them entitled/rezoned for the large scale industrial warehousing and distribution centers. Collectively this represents over 3,200 acres of industrial development around the seaport.
Lindsey Wilmot
With ten years’ experience of managing campaigns that deliver revenue growth, she is able to ideate, direct and execute against vision to successfully achieve goals. She has worked in a variety of industries from a small non-profit, to one of the largest telecommunication conglomerates in the US. She applies her past experience to business development and directing the team’s overarching go-to-market approach and messaging.
Lindsey currently works to develop strategic partnerships between our clients and our team. She is highly motivated, organized and decisive with an exceptional ability to maintain effective personal relationships and provide premier customer service. Lindsey is a licensed real estate agent.
Cate Browne
Ms. Browne’s career in real estate began in 2002 when she worked as a brokerage assistant for a large development company. After obtaining her real estate license, she worked directly with the COO for North Point Real Estate and was involved in a variety of projects.
Cate Browne currently works directly with clients and industry professionals to coordinate and facilitate projects. She has worked within the land development and real estate profession for most of her career. Beyond real estate, Ms. Browne worked in the marketing department for an ENR Top 500 rated engineering and architectural firm. This experience allowed her to leverage her knowledge of land development and attention to detail to respond to RFPs across multiple disciplines. She has experience in strategic coordination of all facets of development from engineering and legal to financing and sales.
